How it works
The booking boxes and buttons lead to GetYourGuide, an online travel agency. If you book after clicking, GetYourGuide gives me a percentage of the booking value. There’s no extra charge for you, no hidden costs, and I don’t handle your payment or data.
How this affects what I write
None on the order of my assessments. The six tours I compare receive the same treatment, and the ratings I report are the published ones, including the 4.4 for Napoli Sotterranea and the mere nineteen reviews for Ipogeo dei Cristallini. If a tour isn’t right for you, I say so, and every review page has a section dedicated to who should skip it. A site that recommends everything to everyone is useless to everyone, including its author.
What I’m not
I’m not the manager of the catacombs, which is the social cooperative La Paranza, and I’m not the official site. I don’t sell the official ticket and have no say in schedules, slots, or availability. The full picture is in who writes this site.
Frequently asked questions
Will I pay more if I book here?
No. The price is the one from GetYourGuide, identical to what you would find by going there directly. The commission is paid by the platform, not you.
Are reviews influenced by the commission?
No, and the simplest proof is that I also include data that doesn’t help sales: the lowest rating, small review numbers, and tours unsuitable for certain visitors. Every page in the reviews says who it's not worth it for.
Why don't you publish the prices?
Because they change constantly. The updated amount appears in the booking box on each page. I explain what the ticket includes and what affects its price in how much the visit costs.
